Summary:
In this lesson students use a bag of skittles to practise their skills of converting fractions-decimals-percentages as well as representing the data in various forms. Plus they get to eat skittles at the end!

Lesson:
Introduction:
- Handout Skittles Maths worksheet and explain the instruction of what is required. (Make sure that you say they can’t eat the skittles to the end of the task.
Body:
- Teach whichever students the skill of writing the skittles as fractions then how to convert to decimals and finally percentages.
- Talk about the mean, median and mode if applicable
- When constructing the nets, it helps to run a mini workshop lesson to assist this.
Conclusion:
- Students can produce their findings on a poster to help demonstrate their understanding.
